Swail to miss Top 10 on technicality

IRELAND’s Conor Swail will miss out on competing in the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final at the five-star CHIO Geneva due to an oversight in paying his fee for the International Jumping Riders Club (IJRC). The rules of competing in the final are you must have paid your membership fee for the last two years and Swail did not pay in 2021 due to an oversight. The world number five told The Irish Field that it was “a total oversight and totally my own fault”.

The list of riders competing in the prestigious final are Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Martin Fuchs (SUI), Julien Epaillard (FRA), Harrie Smolders (NED), Ben Maher (GBR), Simon Delestre (FRA), Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA), Peder Fredricson (SWE), Kevin Staut (FRA) and McLain Ward (USA).
