TONY Ennis has stepped down from the Board of Directors of the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC), bringing to a close a remarkable period of service to the organisation.

Ennis had previously stepped aside from his role as Chair of the AIRC, a position he held for more than two decades, making him the longest-serving chair in the Association’s history.
