APPLICATIONS for the 2022 Equestrian Business Awards open on Monday, January 31st. The awards, run by Equestrian Business Network Ireland (EBNI), will recognise and celebrate excellence in equestrian businesses throughout Ireland.

With 12 categories, the awards are open to members and non-members of the Equestrian Business Network Ireland. Nominations will be made online and nominees will then attend an online interview with a panel of independent judges who are experienced business owners and coaches. Award winners will be announced at an online awards event on March 25th 2022 (provisional date). The closing date for nominees is February 14th.

The 12 categories are: Equipeople sales agent award; Jump Start show jumps equestrian coach award; EBNI equestrian retailer (five or below employees) award; Centrepiece Rosettes equestrian retailer (six or more employees) award; It’s Plain Sailing equestrian online retailer award; AIRE Riding Centre (three or less instructors) award; AIRE Riding Centre (four or more instructors) award; Centrepiece Gifts livery yard award; Trec Trails Ireland services award; Finlay Equi-Trek Horseboxes equestrian venue award; Equipe and Amerigo Saddles Ireland customer services award; RCM Services new equestrian business award (for business who began trading in 2021); and the Overall Equestrian Business award.

The final overall award will be given to the business that stands out and is exceptional in its relevant category.
