LIMERICK’S Kian Dore has ridden Sparkling Lackaghmore Joey to another win in the FEI Jumping Ponies’ Trophy, this time at the Stuttgart German Masters World Cup show in Germany, the third leg of the series.

Dore and the 10-year-old gelding, owned by Edel Dore, finished over two seconds ahead of the next best, while Lauren Adams and Slieve Bloom Bella Rose (ISH) finished in fifth place for Ireland.

Following his previous victory at Lyon in France, this result puts Kian Dore at the top of the FEI Jumping Ponies’ Trophy league table on 40 points.

The FEI Jumping Ponies’ Trophy series consists of four legs plus the final. The first was in Herning, Denmark; the second in Lyon, France, and the third in Stuttgart, Germany.

The next leg will be held in Salzburg, Austria, from December 7th-10th, followed by the final at Mechelen, Belgium, from December 26th-30th.
