Tony Osborne, a long-time director of Naas Racecourse, died on Saturday. His funeral mass took place on Monday. He was predeceased by his wife Joan and is survived by sons Michael and Paul and his daughters Catherine and Mary. He was a brother of Michael Osborne.

Coolmore Stud’s Clem Murphy has been re-elected for a four-year term to the board of the Breeders’ Cup, along with owner and breeder Fred Hertrich III. Mike Rogers from the Stronach Group is a new director. The other members of the board are Barbara Banke, Anthony Beck, Will Farish Jnr, Bobby Flay, Craig Fravel, Roy Jackson, Bret Jones, Bill Oppenheim, Dan Pride, David Richardson and Elliott Walden.
