On his first outing since his unbeaten novice campaign culminated in a Grade 1 triumph at Punchestown last April, the Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old stretched out his unbeaten run dating back to March 2016 and he did so in his customary trailblazing style. Winning jockey Jody McGarvey, who is unbeaten in five rides aboard the J.P. McManus-owned gelding, was enjoying a welcome change of fortune following an injury-hit season that has seen him spend almost five months on the sidelines since August.
