IRISH riders dominated the young horse classes at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva, Spain last week, with Clem McMahon in particular in outstanding form.

McMahon landed the seven-year-old final with Hilton Pacato, an Irish Sport Horse gelding by McMahon’s own Aga Khan-winning stallion Pacino out of a Cavalier Royale dam. McMahon also filled sixth place with another Pacino offspring, Pacifico, who is out of a mare by Aldatus Z. David Simpson slotted into seventh place with the Catoki-sired Keoki.
