THIS season has been marked in the early stages by the number of young riders recording their first successes between the flags and last weekend proved no different with Emma Nagle posting her first success at the United Foxhounds’ meeting in Ballindenisk.
The 18-year-old began riding in bumpers in July 2014 but only in point-to-points this season and got off the mark on her third attempt when landing Sunday’s open lightweight for novice riders on The Bishop Looney, who is owned and trained by her father T.J.
