Willie Mullins has declared Lossiemouth a certain runner in Tuesday's Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham,

The trainer had been keeping his options on the target for the grey mare, who also holds an entry in Thursday's Mares' Hurdle, which she has won for the past two years. She also won theTriumph Hurdle in 2023.

On Saturday Mullins told Sporting Life: "Rich [Ricci, owner] and I have been in dialogue on her target and after we spoke after racing at Gowran it has been decided that Lossiemouth will run in the Champion Hurdle.

"With the declaration timing she was always going to travel over to England when she has and we're happy to let her take her chance on Tuesday where she'll wear cheekpieces."

The final runners and riders for day one of the Festival will be revealed shortly after 10am on Sunday.
