Still Ciel disappointed at this track when a beaten favourite on her racecourse debut back in May but the former point-to-point winner has improved since. The form of her Cork second looks strong in the context of this race. On that occasion she pulled well clear of the field with a mare who has won again since.

Bella Scintilla is the unknown quantity in the race. The four-year-old, who was placed five times in her native France, makes her first start for new connections.

Toor Moment faced a difficult task when second to a well-handicapped mare over two and a half miles at Wexford last time. Prior to that, the daughter of Barely A Moment had kept on strongly when second over two miles at Tipperary. She won’t need to improve a great deal in order to get her head in front here.

Our Bobby was runner-up at this venue in July and may not have stayed two and a half miles last time. He has to be of interest now that he reverts to what appears to be his optimum distance.

Desertmore House can complete the hat-trick in a race where he looks favourably treated. A dual winner at Downpatrick in recent weeks, the penalties he incurred have been largely offset by his jockey claiming 5lb.

Run For Pat was beginning to look rather frustrating prior to landing his maiden at Listowel earlier this month. Following that confidence boosting win, the Gordon Elliott-trained gelding could now be poised to fulfil his earlier potential.

Winning Rascal has been hit with a 9lb hike for his recent Listowel win but such was the authority of that success it is difficult to look beyond him. The Michael Hourigan-trained gelding had his race in safe keeping over two furlongs out and never looked in the slightest danger of getting beaten. There should be another win or two in the son of Brian Boru before the handicapper catches up.

Ocojohn is a difficult horse to catch right but in his best form he is capable of a big run. A reproduction of his Wexford third would be good enough to see the Tom Cooper-trained five-year-old play a leading role.

Carnet De Stage can follow up his win over two and a half miles here at the August meeting. The form of that race has been well boosted subsequently, with the third and fourth going on to win at Listowel. A slipped saddle forced Carnet De Stage out of his latest race at Listowel after jumping just three fences, so he arrives here a relatively fresh horse.

Coole Arcade won at Wexford recently on just his second start over fences. The eight-year-old is relatively unexposed for his current trainer, so remains open to further improvement going forward.

Crimson Chief, who won over hurdles off an identical rating last time, should prove difficult to beat. The 10-year-old had scored over fences on his previous start and appears on really good terms with himself at the moment. Stepping up in trip seems to have brought about an upturn in fortunes of late and he remains well treated on his best form.

Zalika went close at this venue last month before again reaching the frame over a shorter distance at Listowel earlier this month. She should appreciate stepping back up in trip once more.

The Abbey has already been placed five times over fences and was one of the best of these over hurdles. He will have no issues with the track having been successful here on the flat and can score for Gordon Elliott.

Final Orders went close on his chasing debut at Downpatrick recently and has plenty scope for improvement. On a par with The Abbey over hurdles, so he may not be far away.

Search For A Myth can make a winning chasing debut under the in-form Michael O’Sullivan. The application of a first-time hood brought about definite improvement when the mare was just touched off at Wexford last time.

Dreamsrmadeofthis hasn’t gone on from her impressive debut win at Cork but is still lightly raced and has time on her side. Enda Bolger always does well with his runners at Killarney, so the topweight has to be respected.
