TOKYO Racecourse hosts the 26th running of the Group 1 NHK Mile Cup, a Grade 1 on turf for three-year-olds, and the field of 18 contains a few runners by European stallions.

The favourite is Grenadier Guards, a son of Frankel and there are also colts by Kingman and German-bred Schnell Meister, and the Gleneagles-sired Shock Action, bred in Ireland.
