ANDREW Hogan has not yet developed the science of bilocation, though he does have one of the more interesting and challenging racecourse management roles in Irish racing.

Appointed the manager of Tipperary racecourse a few years ago, this year he took on the additional position as manager of Cork. Though August has been a busy month with six meetings between the two venues, the spread of race dates throughout the year means that he has settled into a routine of work that is very manageable.
