THE jockey and trainer combination of Dario Vargiu and Stefano Botti dominated the card at the Cappanelle in Rome last Sunday with five winners. Their haul included the three pattern races on the card.

Priore Philip ran out an easy winner of the feature, the Group 1 Premio Roma GBI Racing over 10 furlongs. The three-year-old Italian-bred son of Dane Friendly ran out an easy winner to complete a hat-trick of wins this season. The colt had six lengths to spare over stablemate Cleo Fan and Dartagnan d’Azur.
