ON a weekend when there were more Group 1 races in Paris than hot meals for yours truly, it seems almost unfair to be providing just a round-up of the remaining races. Happily and Rhododendron both added to the almighty haul of Group 1 wins for progeny of Galileo (Sadler’s Wells). The world’s greatest sire was another whose yearlings were coveted at Newmarket this week, 17 of them averaging 816,176gns and placing him a nose in front of Dubawi. For good measure Galileo’s son Frankel had a dozen yearlings average 602,917gns.

Happily is one of three Group 1 winning offspring of the Group 2 Cherry Hinton Stakes winner You’resothrilling, joining her full-siblings and classic winners Gleneagles and Marvellous. Her two other siblings to race, also by Galileo, are the Group 1-placed duo of Coolmore and Taj Mahal. You’resothrilling is a Storm Cat (Storm Bird) own-sister to Giant’s Causeway.
