THERE was victory for Co Down’s Dermott Lennon in the 1.50m at Samorin in Slovakia CSI4* last week. Riding the Irish Sport Horse Loughview Lou-Lou, he posted the winning round in 64.20 seconds. Along with collecting over €8,000 for the win, Lennon had also done enough to book his place in Sunday’s Grand Prix.
Lennon was almost a second faster than his closest rival, Constant Van Paesschen riding Carlow van de Helle. In third place was Mohammed Al Hajri on Pour le Poussage, clear in 67.42 seconds.
