SLIGO’S Richard Howley continued his good run of recent form last weekend when winning a two-star 1.45 in Canteleu, France, last Saturday.

Howley partnered Arlo De Blondel to a super fast clear in the Table A speed class to break the beams in in 62.13 seconds and finish over two seconds ahead of French runner-up Francois Xavier Boudant with Brazyl Du Mezel, who clocked 64.55 seconds. Howley and the 10-year-old gelding, who is owned by the rider, HK Horses and Sarah Borthwick, earned €6,350.
