Swail third in GP

CO Down’s Conor Swail finished third in the two-star 1.45m Grand Prix in Kronenberg, The Netherlands, last week with nine-year-old gelding Domino van de Valhoeve (Lord Z x Concorde). Swail took over the ride on the horse from the Czech Rebublic’s Emma Augier de Moussac just a number of weeks ago and produced one of seven double clear rounds, in a time of 35.83 seconds. That placing came off the back of a win in Saturday’s 1.40m Table A class. The combination were clear in 60.35 seconds to take the top spot. Cork’s Jeremy Sweetnam finished second in Saturday’s 1.35m with Jolien van Dorperheide.
