DERMOTT Lennon was runner-up in a two-star class in Lier, Belgium last weekend. He guided the Irish Sport Horse Anthem In My Heart to a clear in Wednesday’s 1.45m to finish in second place in 62.91 seconds, behind Belgian winner Yana Jansegers with Orlando van de Afspanning (0/ 62.37).

Galway’s Sven Hadley claimed victory in two one-star classes at the venue. The first came in Thursday’s one-star 1.30m when riding Kabran De Reve, he was over a second faster than his closest rival. Hadley’s partner, Torri Dunn took sixth place in this line-up with the 17-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding Sumas Taloubet (Taloubet VDL x Pride of Shaunlara). On the same day, Dunn took fifth place in the five- and six-year-old class with the Team Z7-bred Irish Sport Horse Z Seven Amour (Z7 Ascot x Caretino).

On Friday, Hadley once again led the victory lap in the one-star 1.30m with Karbran De Reve Z. He came home with nothing to add in 25.80. Dunn joined him in the line-up, taking sixth place with Sumas Taloubet, when clear in 28.15.
