OFFALY’s Darragh Kenny topped a competitive two-star Grand Prix in Šamorín, Slovakia, last weekend, where the final leg of the 2021 Longines Global Champions Tour took place.

Kenny guided Vlock Show Stables’ 10-year-old Comme Il Faut 5-sired stallion Chic Chic to the fastest of eight double clears in the big 18-horse jump-off. His time of 36.77 seconds was good enough to see off Dutchman Bart Bles with El Rocco (36.82). It was the second victory in three days for Chic Chic who won the 1.45m two-phase on Thursday.
