IRELAND’S Ciaran Nallon showed great consistency at the two-star show at Riesenbeck in Germany at the weekend, with two wins, three podium places, as well as a few top-10 finishes during the four-day show.

Nallon started off well, when he placed both second and fourth in Thursday’s 47-strong one-star Young Horse six and seven-year-old 1.20m/1.25m two-phase class with Impress De Jolie Z (35.80) and Zados R (36.16) respectively. The class was won by Jesse Berkers (NED) on Oklahoma VG in a time of 35.29. Another Irish man, James Connors Smyth, rode Chase 8 into 10th place.
