THE tranquil waters of Lough Gur were the venue for the Co Limerick Foxhounds autumn hunting where it was a more than pleasant morning. Hunt secretary Deirdre Hogan, who lives nearby, was on hand to ensure all went well for the 20 or so mounted field.

Also on hand was Joint Master Emma Thompson, who has long familial connections with the hunt as her mother Lady Melissa Brooke was also joint master for many years. There to welcome all was land owner and former master Olivia Hoare and her grandson, the appropriately named Hunter. While Hunter was raised in the USA, he is currently based in Africa.
