HRI taking on six summer interns
on 27 January 2017
Great opportunity to gain experience, knowledge and industry contacts

HORSE Racing Ireland has launched its student summer internship programme. Starting in June, HRI is offering six intern positions, which will be full-time, paid placements over a 10-12 week period.

The intern roles are available in HRI Marketing and Tote Ireland, a subsidiary of HRI, and will be based in HRI’s head office in Ballymany beside the Curragh Racecourse.

Interns will also be placed in Fairyhouse, Leopardstown, Navan and Tipperary racecourses.

The summer internship programme, now in its fourth year, allows participants to expand their industry contacts, broaden their knowledge and gain valuable experience in all aspects of the racing industry including marketing, communications, social media, sales, racecourse operations, race day planning and event management.

Applications are accepted from students from all backgrounds with an interest in the promotion of racing and the sport itself. The programme is open to students in any year of any course.

The closing date for application is March 20th, 2017. Application forms can be downloaded from the website.
