BBC Breakfast published a video on social media, earlier today, stating that dozens of riders and hundreds of horses have been killed on UK roads over the last five years. Here is our advice

There have been a number of accidents involving horses on Irish roads over the past few months, most recently 12-year-old, Sean Doyle, died tragically after the pony and trap he was travelling on collided with a truck.

Riders need to take safety precautions when using the road and drivers need to slow down and pass horses with care. Listed below is our advice on road safety. All articles are free to read so please feel free to share this advice with your fellow road users.
