Dozens of riders and nearly 200 horses have died over past 5 years following incidents on the UK's roads.The British Horse Society have advice for safe driving past horses and riders.

There have been a number of accidents involving horses on Irish roads over the past few months, most recently 12-year-old, Sean Doyle, died tragically after the pony and trap he was travelling on collided with a truck.
