CAFRE offers Honours and Foundation Degree courses in Equine Management, validated by Ulster University. Certificate and diploma level are also available alongside Apprenticeships NI and farriery courses. There is the opportunity for students to progress throughout the suite of courses.

    Farriery is a vital component of equine management, ensuring the wellbeing and soundness of horses. CAFRE’s Farrier Upskilling Programme recognises the importance of advancing farrier skills to meet the evolving demands of the equine sector.

    Students from the Republic of Ireland

    Under the arrangements in place for the Common Travel Area (CTA) between the United Kingdom and Ireland, Republic of Ireland (ROI) students have the same rights as those based in Northern Ireland. A high proportion of Enniskillen students already come from ROI and we welcome further applicants from the ROI.
