THE Irish National Stud is renowned for providing world class training for young people interested in a career in the equine industry. Since its introduction in 1971, the Irish National Stud Thoroughbred Breeding Course has become the best-known equine training programme in the world.

The six-month residential programme which is accredited by the South East Technological University is designed to provide students with a practical approach to every aspect of thoroughbred breeding and provides them with the opportunity to interact with the best tutors and leaders in the equine industry.

Irish National Stud graduates are highly sought after worldwide, with many playing prominent roles in stud farms, racehorse training, bloodstock sales, and media. Some of the most prestigious stud farms worldwide are owned or managed by INS alumni, who continue to champion INS education to future generations of learners.
