SUNDAY’s action commenced with the open team event in the Hornbeam arena, which incorporated the Equestrian Interschools League Final. The league, sponsored this year by Jumpinaction.net and Equestrian World Maynooth, was hotly contested all season.

Of the 23 teams to take on the testing track, 11 made it through to the jump off on double clears. Four of these teams ended on a zero score and fastest time on the day was the team from St. Mary’s Knockbeg (66.84), which consisted of Seamus Dermody, Shea Byrne, Shane Ryan and Michael Pender.
