IT is such an honour to be named winner of the Leadership Award at this year’s Irish Stud and Stable Staff Awards, particularly as I come from a farming family that did not have any interest in racing.

I hope that my achievement will show others that even without a background in thoroughbred horses that you can forge a successful career in this great industry with hard work and dedication.
