RATHASKER Stud's Bungle Inthejungle (by Exceed And Excel) is the first freshman sire of 2018 to get off the mark. His Willie McCreery-trained daughter Jungle Jane made a winning debut at Dundalk on Wednesday afternoon. The filly made all to score by a neck.

She was bred by Jackie O'Flynn, is a €15,000 Goffs Orby Sale graduate, and she is the second winner from the first three foals out of Funcheon Vale (by Acclamation). The mare's half-sister Miss Vegas (by Efisio) was a Grade 2-placed, mile Grade 3 winner in California.

Bungle Inthejungle was trained by Mick Channon and was one of the leading two-year-old sprinters of his year, when he won the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes and Group 3 Molecomb Stakes and took the runners-up spot in the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes. He is a half-brother to the Group 1-winning sprinter Muarrab (by Oasis Dream).
