SILVERWAVE notched up a fourth group success when he landed the Grand Prix de Chantilly without being put under any excessive pressure by Pierre-Charles Boudot. Switched off during the early stages of the mile and a half contest, the five-year-old made a forward move halfway up the three-furlong straight before taking control with 100 metres left to run.
He defeated Talismanic by a comfortable neck with Apilobar third in front of the Qatar Prix Vermeille winner, Left Hand.
