JUST three competitors contested the EI110(J) at Flowerhill, in which Oisin Phelan recorded his fourth win of the season with the Boherdeal Clover-sired Killahara Ailbhe. Both he and the second-placed combination of Grace Mahon with Ballycondon OBOS kept clean sheets through the jumping phases, and Phelan’s dressage score of 30.5 gave him the edge over Mahon’s 31.8. David Keatley was the sole runner in the EI115(J) section, and he completed on 46.4 with the traditionally-bred The Kings Ransom.

The EI100(J) boasted a larger entry, and the victory here went to Rosemary Dundon riding Indigo Lily when they posted the only double clear of the class to finish on their first phase score of 32.8. Dressage leaders Laragh Byrne and LA Saurian Cavalier had to settle for second, after they incurred eight penalties in the show jumping phase to finish on 36. Lucy Hope Ryan finished best of the five starters in the EI100(P) with Brambles Bartholomew, while Elsa Walsh went unchallenged in the EI110(P). She and Ardnehue Red Robin added four show jumping penalties to their dressage score of 31.3 to complete on 35.3.
