THOSE lucky enough to be present at Rosemary Ponsonby’s scenic estate at Grove last weekend not only enjoyed a wonderful two days of sport, but also the glorious Indian summer.

The popular fixture was, as a result of the Covid-19 regulations, neatly divided into the two days which added an air of relaxation to the proceedings. “It certainly took the pressure off, and everyone seemed to enjoy it,” said Ponsonby who, having staged a massive 17 classes over the duration, extended her appreciation to her committee. “The committee, led with tact and humour by chairman Sean Brett, all worked especially hard as we have never run over two days before and had a lot to learn.”
