IT will be interesting to see how many combinations contest the Oulartleigh Equestrian pony class at Wexford Equestrian next Wednesday when the schools have re-opened but one can imagine that, after two wins on different ponies, Killian Murphy will be urging his father Peadar to keep making entries from their Cullintra Stud.

The family’s top scorer this week was another pure-bred Connemara by Burning Daylight, the six-year-old gelding Annefield’s Hector who was bred in Co Wexford by Joe Walsh out of the Glaskopf Golden Siskin mare Annefield’s April. The winner, who has 60 Show Jumping Ireland points, was only lying third (51) after dressage and second after jumping (148) but, on a total of 199, won by a three-point margin.
