THE show jumping proved influential all day, but most notably in the O/CNC* which gave Cheshire-born Xanthe Goldsack her first win on Irish soil. Although the Kilkenny-based rider had led the dressage aboard Carol Gee’s Millstreet Mitch (28.8), it was her own clean-jumping Irish-bred Hi Tech who moved into pole position. Completing on her opening mark of 34.0, Goldsack delivered one of just four double clear rounds, and is delighted to have to have this opportunity to compete in Ireland.
