THERE are no fewer than 30 yearlings by Frankel in the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1 catalogue, details of which were released on Monday.
The three-day sale starts on Tuesday, October 7th and there are 537 lots catalogued, a major increase on the 449 listed last year.
The 2024 sale was an epic affair which saw 16 yearlings sell for seven-figure sums. It will be remembered for some titanic tussles between Amo Racing and Godolphin, with Amo splashing out 4.4 million guineas, 4.3 million guineas and 2.9 million guineas on just three of their 17 purchases. Amo Racing spent just under 20 million guineas at Book 1 last year, while Godolphin spent over 22 million guineas on 18 purchases.

Now in its 10th year, the Bonus is rapidly approaching the remarkable milestone of £10 million paid directly to owners in bonus prize money.
