THE tough and reliable Scholastic started her year in style with a smooth victory in the two-mile handicap and she could be in for an industrious few months on the Polytrack.
The Joseph O’Brien-trained filly, who developed into a reasonable juvenile hurdler in the autumn, made an encouraging return to Dundalk when chasing home Hannon over this trip just before Christmas and she built on that display with ease.
