FIVE judges were booked for the 19 classes at the South East Region’s show at Spruce Lodge on Sunday when doubles were recorded by three riders.

Waterford’s Emily Kate Robinson scored twice before Vida Tansey (List 1). She landed the four-runner Medium BD61 with the home-bred Dutch Warmblood mare Kekepania (70%), an eight-year-old chesnut by Lingh, before recording an uncontested victory in the Inter I (from which there were three withdrawals) on the Dutch Warmblood gelding Edvaard (65.88), a 14-year-old bay by Christ.

Sophia Doheny landed the Michael Moore-judged, three-runner Advanced Medium/FEI Junior individual test on her own and her mother Louise’s Dutch Warmblood gelding Batiqar (69.12%), a 17-year-old son of Obelisk, and posted an uncontested success in the Tansey-judged Inter II with Louise’s Westfalian gelding Enrico (63.53).

Oscar O’Connor, riding, his mother Susan’s Westfalian gelding Top Hero 2, a 13-year-old Top Champy bay, beat himself and one other rider when landing the Moore-judged FEI Pony team test on 67.86%, and, again on Top Hero 2, just beat himself on Veenstras Grapjas (62.30) in the FEI Pony individual Pony individual test where Vida Tansey awarded him a score of 66.08.
