THE racing world globally is quite small and interconnected and with increasing mobility of people and horses plus greater international competition, the opportunities for travel and education are growing all the time.

From the early days of RACE, young people were encouraged to broaden their horizons and learn new things by experiencing what other countries had to offer in terms of horse breeding and racing. Doors were opened for them to avail of work experience in South Africa, America, Dubai, Australia and even Japan at a time when that part of Asia was considered very exotic. Many found this international experience to be of great help in carving a future career in the industry.
