TIPPERARY’s Denis Lynch has recorded another impressive result with the 10-year-old gelding The Sinner, finishing third in Saturday's 1m60 Land Rover Grand Prix at Helsinki’s five-star World Cup show in Finland.

Lynch was among seven riders who made it into the jump-off, where he posted a second clear round in 35.28 seconds to collect €13,300.

Victory went to Germany’s Philipp Weishaupt with Asathir in 32.30, and Maikel Van der Vleuten (NED) finished as runner-up with Dana Blue (32.93).

Shane Breen finished ninth with the Irish Sport Horse CSF Vendi Cruz after coming home with one time fault in the first round.

Denis Lynch and The Sinner (Sanvaro x Landgold 3) finished seventh in the opening round of the Longines FEI World Cup last weekend in Oslo. Helsinki will host the second World Cup round of the season on Sunday afternoon.
