DERRY's Daniel Coyle added another five-star win to his collection when coming out on top in Sunday's 1m50 West Canadian Cup at Spruce Meadows in Canada.

He partnered the Susan and Ariel Grange-owned Grafton to the fastest clear round in an eight-way jump-off, stopping the clock in 42.33 seconds.

Daniel Coyle forced American world number one Kent Farrington into second place with Sherkan Damaury, five-hundredths of a second slower than the Irish rider. Israel’s Daniel Bluman took third place with Bacara D’Archonfosse, completing the course in a time of 42.41 seconds.
