BROOME continued his hugely productive start to the season in the Group 2 Coolmore Sottsass Irish EBF Mooresbridge Stakes which looks to have teed him up for a return to the big time.

After being restricted to just a couple of runs last term Broome was making his third appearance in just over five weeks and he was returned at 4/9 to add this race to recent Group 3 and listed triumphs. In the colours of Masaaki Matsushima and under Ryan Moore, the favourite had to work somewhat to get by the front running Ancient Spirit.
