GOFFS Group chief executive Henry Beeby has described this year’s Goffs Orby Sale catalogue as an improved offering, featuring siblings to 22 Group 1 winners.

As the catalogue was published online, Beeby said: “2026 has us at a whole new level given the unprecedented support we have received from breeders and pinhookers this year. That means that buyers will find outstanding depth and quality at Orby Book 1 as even more leading vendors have backed the 2026 edition with a greater share of their best yearlings.”

A Justify half-sister to Minnie Hauk, who fetched €1,850,000 at the 2023 edition, is an obvious highlight from Camas Park Stud, who are also set to offer a Too Darn Hot colt out of the top-class Fiesolana.

Goffs regulars Barronstown Stud consign a Camelot brother to Jan Brueghel and Sovereign, along with a full-sister to this season’s unbeaten Coventry Stakes victor Great Barrier Reef.

The Castlebridge Consignment will offer the largest draft at 39 yearlings, featuring a full-brother to Emily Upjohn, a Baaeed half-sister to Goliath, a Frankel colt out of Laurens and a Dubawi filly out of classic heroine Peaceful. Baroda Stud are next with 33 yearlings.

The full-brother to Ethical Diamond, which was pinhooked for €380,000 at Goffs in November, will be reoffered by Kellsgrange Stud.

Other highlights include Ballylinch Stud’s full-brother to Saffron Beach, Airlie Stud’s Kingman half-brother to Skitter Scatter, Yeomanstown Stud’s Chaldean sister to Khaadem, Hollyhill Stud’s St Mark’s Basilica half-sister to Dubai Mile, Glenvale Stud’s Frankel colt out of a Group 1 filly, Mountarmstrong Stud’s Paddington half-sister to No Speak Alexander and Whitehall Stud’s Wootton Bassett brother to Anthony Van Dyck.

Last year’s Orby Book 1 saw 10 lots sell for €500,000 or more. The average price of €134,256 and median of €98,000 were both sale records.

The Orby Sale takes place on September 18th and 19th, followed by Book 2 on September 30th and October 1st.

Book 2 contains 428 yearlings, including the progeny of 60 stakes-performing dams and 73 mares that have already produced stakes-winning or placed horses.

Yearlings from both sales are eligible for the Goffs Million, with a further €1 million on offer through €50,000 bonuses for winners of designated juvenile races.
