NINE four-year-old winners feature in the early entries for the Goffs Punchestown Sale, which takes place after racing on Thursday evening.
Koktail Brut, a dual Grade 2 winner in novice hurdles this term, is a previous graduate of the sale and his consignor Paddy Turley has entered a pair of debut winners next week.
Four-year-old Maxios mare All Noise was sent off favourite at Tattersalls two weeks ago and showed a likeable attitude when obliging under her owner Declan Lavery.
She boasts further appeal as a half-sister to last month’s Ryanair Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle heroine White Noise, while stablemate Mikel Ange Spigao is an Ivanhowe gelding from a smart French family.
He made a perfect start at Tullaherin last weekend, winning by three-parts of a length, with the front pair finishing 12 lengths clear of the third. Also entered in the sale is the Cormac Doyle-trained runner-up Verney Fox, who is a Crystal Ocean brother to Firefox.
Eamonn Doyle landed the first division of the four-year-old maiden on the card with promising debutant Garden Master, a half-brother to Mighty Bandit. Sean Doyle’s newcomer Spinning A Dream impressed in the four-year-old mares’ maiden, with the sister to Spinningayarn storming nine lengths clear.
Impressive
Pat Doyle’s two entries include impressive Rathcannon debutant Aladin Du Rheu, a four-year-old son of Choeur Du Nord owned by Simon Munir and Isaac Souede’s trading arm Jet Bloodstock.
The €60,000 store will be joined by Doyle’s Poet’s Word five-year-old The Laundry Jet, who won a Tullaherin maiden by six lengths on his second start.
Jonathan Fogarty brings debut Dromahane winner Chanson Du Jury, a Jukebox Jury four-year-old who won by a head from All In Focus, who will be offered by Michael Goff.
Two more four-year-olds who scored on debut at Dromahane feature in the early entries. Darragh Berry’s Berkshire gelding The Big Berk came home five lengths clear, while Music Maker had to rally to continue the fine form of the Sam Curling yard.
Stuart Crawford completes the early line-up with Jeu St Eloi gelding Monjeu De Chaillac, who scored by two and a half lengths at Castletown Geoghegan
Early entries can be viewed on the Goffs website, where the full catalogue will be released on Monday. Vetting will take place at Goffs on Wednesday, where horses will be shown on Thursday morning and will also be available for inspection throughout racing on Thursday at Punchestown.
