MEHMAS has had his covering fee raised by 20% to €60,000 following another good year on the track and in the sales ring for the progeny of the Tally-Ho Stud stallion.

Group 1 winner Minzaal and Group/Grade 2 scorers Persian Force and Going Global kept the son of Acclamation in the headlines this season. A yearling filly by Mehmas sold for 450,000gns at Tattersalls Book 2 last month and approximately 20 of his yearlings sold for six-figure sums at public auction in recent months.

He now passes out Kodiac as the highest-priced stallion on the Tally-Ho roster. The 21-year-old Kodiac was represented chiefly by Campanelle, El Bodegon and Bear Story on track this year. His fee has been reduced from €60,000 to €45,000.

Cotai Glory’s second crop of runners was headed by Prix de l’Abbaye winner The Platinum Queen and his fee goes up to €12,500 from €8,500.

Starman will enter his second season at stud at a slightly reduced fee of €15,000, while Kessaar and Inns Of Court stay on €5,000. Kessaar lies in sixth place on the European first season sires list, and Inns Of Court will have his first runners next year.
