HE’S coming home’ would have been an appropriate refrain for Michael Hardy last month, as he and his wife Kate, along with two young children, prepared to end their nine-year sojourn in Kentucky and move to Ireland.

This week Michael commenced his new role as head of sales at Goffs, a place he got to know when he spent time there on an internship when he was a trainee on the Darley (now Godolphin) Flying Start , which turned into a position in the bloodstock department after graduation.
