A FULL-BROTHER to world champion Ghaiyyath heads the 1,041 foals catalogued for the Goffs November Foal Sale.

Bred by the Weld family’s Springbank Way Stud, Ghaiyyath was sold for €1.1 million at this sale in 2015. Racing for Godolphin, Ghaiyyath was a Group 3 winner at two, unbeaten on his only start at three, a Group 1 winner at four, and winner of both the Eclipse Stakes and Juddmonte International at five.

The Foal Sale catalogue was published online yesterday and includes seven foals by Sea The Stars, nine by Lope De Vega, eight by No Nay Never, seven by New Bay, four by Wootton Bassett, 18 by Mehmas, 11 by Havana Grey and one by Kingman.

Stock by Darley stallions Blue Point, Earthlight, Pinatubo and the aforementioned Ghaiyyath have been popular at the recent yearling sales and those stallions are well represented in the Foal Sale catalogue. Too Darn Hot and Night Of Thunder both have three representatives each.

Goffs CEO Henry Beeby said: “We have assembled a truly world class selection of foals for November that offers a superlative catalogue of strength, depth and diversity at every level.”
