THE North Down Hunt has been invited to parade at this year’s Balmoral Show which takes place at The Maze from May 13th to 15th.

Huntsman Barry Jones will bring 12 and a half couple of hounds for the parades on Thursday and Friday, assisted by his brother Philip and whip Charlie McPoland. Barry and Charlie gave their horses a trial run in public when acting as mounted stewards for the hunt’s point-to-point at Kirkistown last Saturday.
