LAST Sunday evening, Endurance Riding Eireann held its inaugural awards ceremony in The Orchard House, Kilkenny with nearly all of the winners being on hand to accept their prizes.

Unfortunately, due to work commitments, Sylvie Quinn, who won the The Hollows Endurance trophy for the competitive trail rides participant with the highest mileage in ERE events, was unable to attend, nor was Tom MacGuinness who had the excuse of being on his way home from Pamiers in France where he had been competing in an FEI two-star 120km race with Djohar Pandora Jack.
