TONY MCEVOY enjoyed his biggest day at the races last Saturday winning the A$2 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic at the Gold Coast with his Zoustar filly Sunlight.

Going forward from a wide gate Sunlight was able to avoid the more severe interference caused by Ef Troop, whose charge to the front from the outside barrier caused a cascade through the field with Jonker and Hugh Bowman lucky not to go through the running rail. Ef Troop’s jockey Matt McGillivray was subsequently suspended for a month.
