THE Irish Pony Society’s annual foal show took place at Tipperary Equestrian Centre on Monday, October 27th where Mairead Ryan was on judging duties. Some 17 ponies came forward for the event, which was an increase on 12 months ago.

The horse classes were first with only one foal forward for the Renelles Stud Intermediate class; that being the beautiful palomino Heartlands Falcon, a full-brother to last year’s winner Heartlands Queen, who was also present to take the yearling class later on. Heartlands Falcon, who is by a Welsh Section B stallion out of a sport horse mare, later took the Horse Supreme title.
