IRISH international event rider Casey Webb, who is based with Steven and Trevor Smith in Gilford, Co Down, will share her cross-country expertise on a course walk at Ash Hollow Equestrian, Dromore Co Tyrone on Sunday, October 9th at 2pm.

Casey has represented Ireland as a Young Rider in 2017 and she regularly competes at national and international level, as well as being a successful producer of young horses. Casey’s recent successes includes being Northern Region’s Leading EI115 Combination in 2021 with Aprils Pacino Time, as well as the combination winning the HSI Eight/Nine-year-old Mares Development League.

Owner of Ash Hallow, Alison Callion, and Casey are getting together to raise money for Air Ambulance NI and the David Foster Injured Riders Fund of which both charities are close to Alison and Casey’s heart.

Casey will guide you round the course at Ash Hollow sharing her thoughts on each obstacle and explaining how she thinks riders should tackle the fence. Casey will also be taking about ground conditions, timing and more. There will be also the chance to ask Casey questions about her career to date, horses and some of her recent results.

Alison Callion commented: “I am excited to host this event. Casey Webb is a fantastic rider and it is great to get this opportunity to walk a course with her and share her knowledge. All the proceeds from this event will go to two fantastic charities. There is nothing worse than making a mistake, like missing a fence or going the wrong way! Silly mistakes can be avoided if we walk our cross-country course correctly. Casey will give us tips and tricks which I am also excited to hear.”

The price of the event is £10 per adult and £5 per child and this includes tea, coffee and cake. Spaces are limited and to book your ticket to the event visit www.jumptime.ie or contact Alison on 07501871665.
